I did not love this, BUT somehow the author wrote this so well that I am now very curious about his other writings.
I think I just did not get hooked on the story and got very frustrated over the fact I could not quite work out the name of the main character…(I think it is George, but I am not sure).
I would say this though, it is my first reading of this particular genre and I am pleasantly surprised at the author’s skill who somehow made the path from reality to the fantasy world in this story seem completely seamless and ultimately that’s why I want to read more works by this author.
I hear #Americangods is pretty good.
My rating is more a 3.5 than a 3 by the way

Give “American Gods” a try if you liked Gaiman’s style. “Ocean at the End of the Lane” isn’t my favorite of Gaiman’s, either.
