synopsis from 

I read this book in March 2014, it is now December 2014 and I still cannot bring myself to watch the movie.

Just literally finished reading this book and I am left with more questions than answers and shown how little I know about this very dark chapter in human history.

I do hope that this book will become a classic read as it was left in the dark for so long and will also become part of our children’s education curriculum.

Not wanting to take away from the plight that slavery was and still is in some part of the world, I do wonder if we will ever learn…
