Book Review: “Orphan Train” by Christina Baker Kline

My first audiobook!!

I remember not knowing what to expect when I first pressed “play” for this book, but @bakerkline took me on a tragic and beautiful journey, where the characters found a little happiness where ever they could and the story was beautifully told by the narrator.

I have not listened to an audiobook since…how strange!

Orphan Train made it to my list of favorites books which is quite an achievement since I do not have a very big list.
I will probably read it again…and again.

This is a fantastic piece.
What I loved about it is that it introduced me to a part of American history I was completely ignorant about.
To this day, I do not know if it is a true account however if it is not, I am sure it will have hit home with a lot of people who will recognise themselves in this story.

This is a beautiful homage.
