Please welcome Jason Cushman, the man behind the “Harsh Realisty” (aka An Opinionated Man) blog. OM is one of the first blogger I encountered on WordPress and I am sure most of you have too. He has kindly accepted to be my “Featured blogger” and also indulged me with answering the usual Chouett Q&As:
LaChouett: During your blogging years, have you been offended yourself? Can
you recall the experience and share it with us?
OM: I have been offended by some posts and opinions on the United States
military. I once left a pointed comment for a person that wrote a post
and turned the flag upside down with writing on it. I let them know
that disrespecting the flag and the soldiers that are protecting this
nation isn’t the way to show a differing political view. Attack the
law makers, not the grunts on the ground.
LaChouett: Although your primary objective is to offend all equally, you may
have enlightened and opened more minds with your posts than offended
them. Do you think there is any truth in that?
OM: I wouldn’t know the answer to that personally. I write, I opinionate,
and I share what I see and think. People can take from that what they
wish or ignore it. That is what is great about blogging.
LaChouett: Once you feel that you are done with offending, what would you
like to do next?
OM: You mean other than complete my mini Death Star?
LaChouett: One word to sum you up?
OM: Pretty
LaChouett: Is there a book/author that played a big influence while you were
growing up in Memphis and since you have a lot to say, will I be lucky
enough to see you in print on Amazon one day?
OM: No, no influences from Memphis really. I grew up reading classics
myself and watching my mother write. If anyone is an influence she is.
One day I’ll publish a book. Whether that book will be worth reading
is yet to be seen.
Thank you OM
LaChouett

If you think his blog is awesome, check mine out. I’m a writer of dark, esoteric science fiction/fantasy who also writes about some very controversial topics. Check it out, if you are interested.

only came across his blog yesterday, because he became a follower of mine – must have found me thro you, tho I hadn’t heard of him before, and now a double dose! I like your mini interview style – do come and share something on my mini copycat page – acknowledged to and sanctioned by mr cushman – whose site blew me away!
