It’s another one of my late wrap up!!! Yes the September one!

I am running late! I am running late!

I cannot believe it’s December and I have still 3 wrap ups to go and probably a good 7 reviews to write. But that’s ok, plenty of time…right?! 😊

Well, since I have the power to stop time (…or at least I like to think so), let’s pretend that we’ve just landed in October so that I can go through what I read in September.

Well, it turns out I had not read that many books in September.

I clearly remember hitting a reading slump. Yes those happen even to me. But those few books I read turned out to be of 5* reads in my books.

The first one was True Fire by Gary Meehan from the #truetrilogy. Highly underrated series I think we really should talk about more. If you are into UKYA you will surely love this.

Here’s my thoughts on this and my interview with Gary which I had the opportunity to do back in September.

Next was Darkmere by Helen Maslin, a beautiful hunting story which will leave you wanting more.

What I really enjoyed about this book was that the ending was left in the end of the reader. Feel free to browse my review to see what I mean 😉.

I remember not being able to pick up another book for a while after Darkmere so I ended up reading a lovely children’s book entitled “Meet At The Ark At Eight” by Ulrich Hub which was a lovely retelling of the Great Flood….with a twist. It ended up being a favourite for me and my little one actually. Both adults and children can enjoy this fab little read.
